Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Everett, WA offers a wide variety of Mexican menu choices. Parking is ample. There can be a substantial wait time on Friday and Saturday evenings. Service at this location hasn't been impressive, with long waits to order, and lack of beverage refills. Also we have had a challenge receiving the orders in 'as requested' condition. In my view, the food is average -- not bad, but not our first choice for Mexican dining. The chips and salsa taste 'packaged', the rice is often hard, and the lettuce is wilted. I base this opinion on numerous visits.

I was impressed by Azteca, they provide chips and salsa so you can munch to your hearts content. The chicken fajitas were awesome and i had more than half leftover, partly due to saving room for dessert. I wasn't so impressed by the dessert, I ordered fried ice cream and got ice cream rolled in fried corn flakes. Dessert isn't such a big deal though, I would recommend this restaurant regardless.

It's loud. It's kept festive. It's Americanized Mexican food. As with most Mexican restaurants, most of the staff is Mexican. Those who aren't, pretend they can't speak English until they go out front for their cigarette break. (Front and back are parking lot. For a party, it's apparently fun--there's always at least one birthday party going on when we stop by. For conversation--forget it! Food is mild, but at least you don't wonder what's in it:) It's also close to local movie theatres and shopping malls.

My friends and I frequent Azteca as much as we possibly can afford to!!! We women especially like to use this location as our mom's night out without the family night!!!
