Quite a disappointment! Yes, It did feel like the herding of cows. Did not enjoy eating along side the herded cows, patrons , that ate like it was their last supper! If you want to witness people making pigs of themselves, this place will entertain you. LOL! Lots of food, many choices, but all average. Really not impressed at all. Will not return, can't recommend. There is another place in area called, Miller's Smorgasbord. You pay just alittle more, but the food quality, the service the atmosphere, the patrons, are superior to Shady Maple. Look it up!

I went on a Saturday evening..very full, but we were seated within a 30 minutes. The food I must say is excellent, all of it. If you can't find something that you like your not human. The deserts were also excellent. Strap on the feed bag and try it out, you won't be dissappointed.

If you like being herded along a row of foods, like animals before a feeding trough, this is a restaurant for you. The only advantage is that there are sometimes a few pearls to find here that are rather tasty. The variety is good, but it's also different from what most people would normally eat. The atmosphere is... eclectic. Some may find it interesting, but most will find it dull. If you're in a bind, and want something different to eat, stop in at Shady Maple.

This is an experience if nothing more. The food is different from the usual buffet, leaning towards the Amish style of cooking. The atmosphere is surprisingly elegant - the place was completely re-done awhile ago. As with these "all you can eat" buffets, you'll eat far too much so be very hungry when you go. Soft drinks only. <br> After eating, go to the food store on the same property. That, too, is fun.

I was not overly impressed. The food was edible but not great. There were a lot of different foods available. I probably won't go back again.

This is buffet-style. And yes there a a whole lot of food. Perhaps too much. Anyway, go here if you're really hungry. The food is good for buffet. Don't expect atmosphere, or to be treated any different from the local cows at feeding time. (You know it looks an awful like like milking time at the local farm when you really think about it.) But don't let that dissuade you, as it really is pretty good, and they do have some interesting food choices.
