Huh??? Clean bathrooms??? Are we talking about the China Pearl? I think
this restaurant is over-hyped. They used to be the winner of the Best
of Boston awards but not anymore. The washrooms (if that is any indication
of how much the restaurant cares about hygiene and cleaniness) was
absolutely disgusting - huge pools of water on the floor, dirty toilet
seats, mismatched and cracked tiles, etc. I am surprise they passed
their health inspections. Hey, and I am chinese and have traveled the
world - so it is not like I am being naive. IMHO, the owners should pour back some of their profits into renovating
the restaurant (change the thread-bare carpets), renovate the bathroom,
etc. spruce up the decor. If you want to try another really good dim-sum restaurant, try Hei La
Moon (88 Beach). I was so happy when that restaurant opened. HLM is huge,
clean, nice tablecloths, nice tables, great dim sum. I only go back
to CP maybe once a year. What a change!!! The irony is that, according
to an article in Google, HLM is apparently owned by the same people who
own CP.

Nice chinese food and the service is good. Their chicken, beef
and shrimp fried rice is the best. Nice place for a take out if in
the mood for chinese food.
