We LOVE this restaurant!! We have been coming here for years and they never cease to please. You have to try the onion rings (appetizer). The large size is about 12 in. tall, and soooo good! They're hushpuppies are to die for and they have every seafood imaginable. They're batters are just fantastic. The only thing is that if you are going at a meal time, get there EARLY! They are always packed...due to their wonderful menu. Enjoy!

This is a Great place with wonderful food. The catfish is out of this world and be sure and get the onion rings. Best ever on those. The grilled catfish is wonderful too if you get tired of fried stuff. Will and have been back again and again. Don't miss out on this one. Great size portions too.

A "Texas" dining experience! Not fancy, just damn good service and food...and something different in atmosphere for the kids so they don´t get bored. Lot´s of fried stuff...Texas again, but a nice choice of offerings all in all. Our seafood (the two adults)was "generic" but good...nice variety of sides also. The kids burgers looked and (they said) tasted great. The onion rings I stole from their plates were among the best I´ve ever encountered. Nice, fun, casual place when visiting New Braunfels.

The Best at what they do. If you love fried seafood this is the place for you. They also have some excellant grilled entrees for those watching the fat. Hint: Start our with a half order of the onion rings. Dont order a full order unless you have Six people eating or you are very hungry.

Seafood is ok but prices high. Served on paper plates and plastic ware. If your food gets to the table fast good if not drop a star. Its situated in an old Barn which is novel the first couple of times. Can be hot in summer even with A/C

The wait is long here but its worth it. Clear Springs is built in an old dance hall and the memorabilia on the walls and ceilings make the view interesting. Oh, and don't forget to try the onion rings! (And I don't even like onions but I love their rings!)

I love this place. They have good selections. The food is prompt. Be sure and get the onion rings when you go here. Get there early because it gets crowded. The food is worth the crowd.

This is a popular eatery and you can count on an average meal with popular types of food - mostly fish. The fact that it is very busy makes it sound like good eating, and it is acceptable. You just don't need to be in a hurry there. It is also very rustic so don't count on a really romantic dining experience.
