This is the best kept "Chinese" secret in the area. I have 2 friends that lived in the Far East and can eat in many large-city oriental restaurants, and always insist on going to Smiley's when they visit Ohio! Nothing fancy here, styro plate on a plastic tray, but the food is absolutely 1st rate! Everything is hand prepared, not from a can. The egg-rolls are hand prepared, the soups are wok-made daily. It's great entertainment to watch your meal prepared, (hint, it's not done `til it's been on fire!). The husband\wife team that own and operate Smiley's are super nice and will prepare special orders, no problem! My favorite is the Twice Cooked Pork (I get it extra-spicey). I used to work in Marion and would eat at Smiley's at least once a week. Now that I work in Columbus, I still find a reason to go to Marion about once a month, just to stop in at Smiley China! You should too!

"Smiley China", is a fast food Chinese restaurant. All of the meals are prepared in full view by the customer. They serve meals in two sizes, lunch and dinner. Both are available at anytime. Their eggrolls are made from scratch at the restaurant, not shipped in like most other establishments! There is even a convenient drive up window for those wishing to remain in their autos. Special dietary requests are no problem either. Great food and fast, courteous, service!
