This is a great restaurant on its own...the salad and breadsticks are great, the soup is nothing special...but as far as Italian food goes, it is below average. If you're looking for authentic Italian meals, this is not the place. Although the food is pretty consistently good, it is also "over-americanized". As I haven't really tried any other Italian restaurants in the area, I can't compare it to any others in the Syracuse area, but if you're looking for authentic Italian, look elsewhere.

I eat here with family at least once a month and I have always enjoyed their food. I like to experiment once and a awhile and they have alway come through with good food. The salad is excellent when you get it as a group. I will always keep coming back.

I love Olive Garden! It's a great place to go to before a dance of just with your family. The bread and salad is great, and the service and atmosphere are nice.

Over priced and over rated. There are much better places for Italian food in Syracuse area. The service is friendly. Long lines on the weekend. Standard fare for a chain restaurant. Check out other italian restraunts in the area.

The food is generally good as far as mainstream Italian food goes. If you are looking for authentic gourmet Italian food go elsewhere, but for the money and a good family type Italian restaurant, the Olive Garden is good. I don't quite think that the Olive Garden is on par with it's sibling Red Lobster as far as quality of food. The service is good, but it seems that the quality of the food is a little inconsistent. You can go 3 times and order the same thing and get 3 quite different results...sometimes that's good, sometimes not.

Good prices, good food, good service, long wait but worth it. I love the all you can eat salad and bread sticks, they even will serve you fresh ground pepper, or grated cheese if you would like.
