I too enjoyed the food and ambience. Do recommend the Pasta Bolognese.
Lunch is also a go time to go. Lots of locals and off of touristy State
street.

Like the other reviewers have said, this is a locals restaurant
(although I'm sure they won't turn away a tourist).
My business partner and I go there every week to meet with a group
of friends. The food is always great. It's one of those places
where you end up eating a favorite most times you visit. But everything
on the menu is superb. The ambiance is cozy, a lot like those places
you find in the non-tourist neighborhoods in Rome. Small, intimate,
a bit boistrous at times, always convivial.

Cozy and elegant. Feels like a small Manhattan neighborhood
restaurant. Food is very good.

This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. There truly
is not one dish on the entire menu that is not outstanding. Dario
does not cater to the tourist, as his local following is enough
to keep the restaurant packed every night of the week.

My favorite restaurant in town. Every dish is superb. Dario does
not seek the tourist crowd, as his food keep local clientele returning.
I highly recommend the ravioli's - you will not be disappointed.
