Beautiful setting with delightfully friendly staff. The food is pretty good too. Excellent italian cusine, with an excellent atmosphere. If you're visiting DC, this is one of the places you'll definatly want to stop!

Authentic cuisine. One sentence says it all when talking about this restaurant. You have a wide variety of choices on the menu. I haven't found any dish on the menu that i didn't like. You'll leave satisfied.

What a beautiful restaurant! A nice large bar/lounge area that is so inviting with the friendly bar staff, that you almost feel like you are missing part of the experience by going to your table right away! It's a comfortable dining room where there is a buzz! Local business/casual types, and I spotted a Congressman who seemed to come there alot. I see why - the food is great! The pasta dishes were prepared fresh with great sauces and hearty portions. The ceasar salads also taste like it was whipped up seconds before I ordered it! The fried calamari appetizer was lightly coated and fresh - not overcooked or chewy. Never had it better! The linguini and clam sauce was perfectly seasoned with garlic and white wine...mmmm! I can't wait to go back!

What a great find! In a cozy neighborhood area of Capitol Hill, away from the crowds, this comfortable quiet, yet airy restaurant with life trees reaching up to the skylight boasts some of the best pasta, veal, and seafood italian dishes I've tasted! Reasonable prices were an unexpected surprise when walking into such a fine restaurant with linen tablecloths and napkins and top notch service! It made it easy to keep going back regularly - and most patrons are regulars - the staff knew many by name. The fresh rolls and generous dinner portions make it difficult to save room for dessert - but do! The tartuffo and tirmisu can't be beat! Along with an espresso or amaretto, they top off such a nice evening. I heard the Sunday brunch is great with a Southern touch - the owner is from the South!
