This top-starred restaurant is a gem -- arty in presentation, and yet
completely unfussy in atmosphere. Raincity Grill was one of the very
first restaurants in Vancouver to embrace the "buy locally,
eat seasonally" concept. The menu focuses on seafood, game,
and poultry, and organic vegetables from British Columbia and the
Pacific Northwest. The room is long and low and intimate, perfect for
romantic dining. To sample a bit of everything, I recommend the seasonal

Delicious food, and a fabulous atmosphere. Ingredients are
fresh, and recipies are classic. Excellent for large groups,
they have a number of set-price menus where a wide selection of
dishes are served family-style. Service is outstanding. Highly
recommended, especially for large groups.

One of the very few places that I can take my vegetarian friends
to - and not feel that they are being short changed. I am not vegetarian
- but have always enjoyed my choices. Service has been excellent
and knowledgeable regarding entree ingredients.
