Very good egg rolls, beef and broccoli, chow mein and wonton soup, nice
to see they are still giving great service and food, since my first
visit there in 1988!

I don't go into King Wah, but I do order take-out from them,
delivery hours are 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a $1.00 if your order is
over $12.00. The Hot and Sour soup is so good, as is all their food.

This is another of one of the few Chinese restaurants in Daly City--but
this is one of the better ones. Seating is always available as
well as easy parking-the farest you will ever park is probably
one block. I love the Koi Pond which keeps children entertained
while waiting for a table...usually a 5-10 minute wait on weekends,
especially Sundays for Dim Sum.
Their dim sum is fresh and good...although very limited to the
more common dim sum dishes such as ha gow (shrimp dumplings),
sui mai (pork dumplings), churng fun (rice noodles that haven't
been cut stuffed with shrimp, BBQ pork, or beef and served with
sweet soy sauce), and so forth.
As for dinner, I love their steak cue...very very very tender.
Their gin doe pwy gut (peking spareribs???) is also very tender
and at the perfet sweetness. The food is good though their recipes
or chefs are not consistent and servings a bit on the small side,
but its just what Daly City needs...since Koi Palace is alwa ...

Prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. The servings
are hugh. Their service is quick and friendly.
My husband love the Peking Spareribs and my favorite is the Chicken,
tofu, and salted fish claypot (even though it isn't served in
a claypot). Their family dinners are also great. For around $50,
you can get a seafood dinner that gives you a crab, a fish, soup,
and a few other dishes (ours included shrimp, fried chicken,
pepper beef, and vegetable) and dessert that's enough to feed
6-8 people. Last time we ordered that, there were 5 of us and we
took almost half the food to go because there was so much.
Their dim sum is cheap and wonderful. There is usually a wait for
lunch during dim sum time (lunch/brunch) on the weekends. I have
never had to wait during dinner time.
Everyone should try this place.
