This is a fascinating restaurant. They are vegan and in addition to
being vegan, choose to not cook anything at all on the menu. The theory is
that raw foods have enzymes that are good for you and that cooking your food
destroys the enzymes in that food. Nothing is heated to over 125 degrees F.
Even with that restriction, the food is wildly creative. I am especially fond of
the "pizze", which is a combination of unlikely and flavorful foods on a non-cooked buckwheat
crust. They can combine avocado, date, raw garlic and other stuff for a mouthful of fun.
They also make something called "kreem", which unlike many other dairy subsititutes, actually has
a satisfying mouth feel. Their hazelnut torte is very tasty, and not cooked at all. The
staff is very peculiar looking. I think they are all related and came
from a saucer in Area 59, but they are very sweet and dedicated.
My only complaint is that its a bit pricey for some items. They had a
fruit plate that was very expensive
