Service is a hit or miss at this place. If you get the younger or
older lady servicing you then you're good to go, but if you
get the lady who's about in her 30's then you're
gonna have problems. She's very very confused by just about
everything you say (And I don't think it's just a language
barrier issue) I have dealt w/ her twice now and both times when
you say the item you want she looks at you w/ a blank stare and pure
silence. I usually repeat it again and louder and then she flips
open the menu to look for what I am talking about and finds the item
number instead of the name I said. I tried doing it reverse and
simply stating the item number instead of the name and still I
get the blank stare of confusion. The other night I asked said
we wanted to start w/ the Thai fried (aka taro todd) and she said
"yes", but as a question. I tried not to giggle out
of feeling really odd and said yes back and she walked away. Well,

My second time dining here and I shall keep returning as the food
has been great each time and service prompt and friendly. Ordered
the Taro Fries which are also called Thai Fries. Very yummy! Lightly
battered in a sweet batter and served with a tangy honey sweet
& sour peanut sauce which is killer? I ordered the D.U.I Noodles
(odd name, I know!) w/ tofu. It has garlic, basil, chili etc...
All the main reasons to eat Thai!
Ordered a Thai Ided Tea which was very good! Not too sweet and not
too bitter. My hubby ordered I tink it was the basil salmon dish
off the menu and it came in a light coconut curry sauce. He said
it was good. This is the first Thai restaurant which I have yet
to not be so full I cannot order my fried bananas! I get so full here
as their food is so tastey and they give decent sized portions
that I can't even imagin eating anything else so I keep missing
out on the fried bananas! Luckily I live right nearby so it shall
happen sooner or later.

Normally it's mine & my hisbands rule to never eat in
restaurants located in minimalls, but we gave this a shot as we
just moved into the neighborhood and were hungry!
The feeling of being in a minimall diminishes once we stepped
inside the restaurant. Beautiful traditional Thai decor and
a friendly hostess/waitress served us. She was very attentive
and wanted to make sure we liked everythign we ordered. My husband
got one of the specials which was a roasted salmon fillet wrapped
in a banana leaf. Very interesting looking! He thought it was
yummy. Came w/ a cilantro chili lime sauce which was yummy. They
have a separate vegetarian menu which is medium sized. Very nice
they think of us! Most of their non-veg dishes have tofu as an option
though as well. They serve organic tofu which is the first time
Iv'e ever seen that on a menu! I got the spicy asparagus dish
and added tofu. Very good flavor! Their thai iced tea was good,
not great but I will order again ...

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. And I'm lucky enough to
have it just a few miles from home. Their yellow curry chicken is to die for.
