We found the restaurant to be clean, nicely decorated and the service good. I would suggest making a reservation if going on Friday night as with most decent restaurants there is a 20+ minute wait without one. I had never had jamaican food, didn't know what to expect, but truely enjoyed the food. I would most definitely recommend the White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Strawberries. Would I dine there again, yes! And usless you are going on a "romantic" date, I'm sure your company would enjoy it.

This is the place to go for delicious, out-of-the-ordinary food! Bring an appetite & share a few things! Try the "bul"... beer, ice, sugar & lime, and it's great! Start with a pitcher full! Tropix is one of my favorite restaurants.

Food is pretty good here. The other day they had a Valentine's Day special dinner and it was really special. The service is attentive and I would not hesitate to bring a date here. It feels a little like restaurants I went to in Jamaica. Try the rice pudding. Excellent

Bright happy decor & nice patio -- also friendly service. Food isn't from anywhere in particular (I refer to Tropix as "Misc. Carribean Food") but it's really pretty good & the price is very reasonable. Very casual environment. I wouldn't bring a date there (unusual layout, not much privacy) but it's a good place to go with friends.
