Probably the best sandwich shop I've ever eaten in. This place is within walking distance from my office (which is why I tried it in the first place). But I keep coming back for their awesome sandwiches, soup and salads. They have an incredible selection of unique sandwiches to choose from. Or if you're in a hurry, grab a quick salad and a fresh 'boule' to go. On nice days, you can sit outside in their covered patio. And the service always comes with a smile. If you haven't tried this place out yet - don't wait any longer!

On my visit to Uptown Gourmet Sandwich I had no idea what I was in store for. First I noticed the big huge banner stating that they had just been voted 'Atlanta's Best Sandwich Shop for 1997' in all of Atlanta. Boy was I impressed and expected them to be special, and they were, they were very special. From the time I stepped into the restaurant, it was pure heaven. Everything was where it was supposed to be, the food was excellent and fresh. The customer service was outstanding. I know this might not be important to some people, but it is very important to me, seeing that they had a 100% rating from the Board of Health. I've never seen that yet in a restaurant. Don't wait any longer if you haven't tried this upscale and wonderful restaurant. I agree with Atlanta Magazine, they are truly the best ever. Treat yourself and I'm sure you'll agree with me.

This restaurant is by far the best sandwich deli shop that I have ever eaten in. It is so clean and comfortable and the owners, Jeff & Bob Weiss (father & son team) do anything to make sure you are happy. Their food is GREAT! Everything that I have ever tasted is delicious. I look forward to going there regularly and we cater all our office meetings from them. They deliver everything and set it up and are courteous. I am so happy that they have opened up and wish them every success. I Love your FOOD! and so do all my friends.

This is a really good sandwich shop. The owners are real nice and the service is great. The have a good variety and invent new stuff all the time. They use top quality meat (Boars Head) and bake the bread fresh at their location. Thurs. they have gumbo. A couple of things I would recommend: California Turkey, Turkey Lurkey, New Yorker or New Yorker Too and the new Reuben. Enjoy.
