i found this restaurant through citysearch.com. it was voted
as the s.f.'s most romantic restaurant in 1996. the decor confirmed
the vote. it was beautiful inside.
the food was pretty good, but their stew tapas all seemed to have
the same base. maybe that's why they came out so fast. i don't know

Recommended by a friend from Spain - great tapas, good
paella, reasonable prices. We especially liked the
roast beef appetizer, and the mixed Spanish sausage appetizer.
Mussels were good, too.
Decor is very nice - like being in someone's home. Great
use of Spanish fabrics, ceramics.
Staff was efficient, but not friendly - the only negative
about this restaurant
