One of the best gourmet restaurants i've been to in a long time.
In addition to chicken, seafood, and beef dishes, Maximillian's
specializes in exotic game, with such choices as bison, emu, New Zealand
deer, kangaroo, alligator, and snake. Everything that I and my two
guests had was excellent, particularly the kangaroo appetizer in
a chocolate-raspberry sauce. (All game is farm-raised, I believe,
as it is illegal to sell wild game for food in the U.S.) A five course meal
(plan about 3 hours for this) will run you about $50 per person, including
wine.

The food is not the typical American cuisine. Instead they serve kangaroo,
bison, quail and almost any other dish we Americans normally shy away
from.An excellent place to visit.
Worth every cent you pay.

Simply incredible. Housed in an anti-bellum home on a hill over
looking autmobile body shops, this place stands out like an gem.
The food is not the typical American cuisine. Instead they serve
kangaroo, bison, quail and almost any other dish we Americans
normally shy away from. But take my word for it: Don't. The service
is great, the food incredible and if your looking for that special
romantic place, this will definitely fit your bill. An excellent
place to visit.
