AN OVERALL GOOD DINING EXPERIENCE SET IN AN OLD PRESERVED MINING TOWN. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT AND HELPFUL. I, HOWEVER, FELT THAT THE CUISINE WAS PRICEY COMPARED TO WHAT WAS OFFERED. I WOULD GIVE IT A SECOND CHANCE.

The City Hotel Restaurant is located in Columbia State Historic Park in the heart of the Gold Country. Restored in 1975, the restaurant combines the efforts of the State of California, the non-profit City Hotel Corporation, and Columbia College. Our professional staff and the college's Hospitatlity Management students take special pride in making your dinner a memorable experience. Chef John Littlewood has been featured in at the Awhanee Hotel in Yosemite National Park and in Bon Appetit Magazine.
