I give these guys 4 because the tap beer selection is robust and a decent
selection of esoteric spirits.
The food is nothing to sneer at as it is by no means your standard pub-grub.
Good, hearty pick food that holds up nicely with embibing.
The patrons are friendly, however the barstaff can be a bit aloof if
you're not a regular.

We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, drinks and
service at the Hydro Bar & Grill. We enjoyed delicious Shaker's
"Rose" Martinis in the late afternoon, very reasonably
priced.
<br>
The next evening, we enjoyed our Hydro Grill dinner (fresh fish
tacos, scrumptious bruschetta, creme brulee) much more than
the pricey dinner (with mediocre service) we had the night before
at Tra Vigne in St. Helena!

Breakfast the next day was fantastic, fresh and reasonably priced
as well. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GREAT PLACE TO EAT & DRINK!

Pricy but great service and friendly managers. Great location.
They also have live bands play which can make it hard to talk to
the person you are eating with. Great place to take a date.

Atmosphere here is awesome with live bands sometimes playing
on weekends. Food is also great (a little overpriced? but what
isn't in the area).

This is a fun restaurant for an informal dinner, lunch, or breakfast.
They are also one of the only restaurants in Calistoga that stays open
past ten PM. There is live music several nights a week and can get a
little noisy. Take a look at their web page at
