I've been here once for lunch and twice for dinner. The
Brazilian dishes are the reason to visit this restaurant.
After several visits, the feijoada, a rich black bean and meat
stew, stands out as the best of the dishes I tried. I have had
feijoada at a Brazilian Restaurant in NYC, and 385's was far
better in presentation, flavor, and quality of ingredients.
I also recommend the Caipirinha, which is a refreshing Margarita-like
rum drink, and it's very refreshing. The Italian dishes I tried are
nicely prepared, but not as interesting.
Parking is easy, the service is friendly, the decor is clean
but a little dim and sterile. There was a guitarist playing
Brazilian tunes on my last visit, and other live music
may be offered in the future. It's a nice alternative to
the rest of the Berkeley restaurant scene.
