The Azteca is famous, very good, and always busy. I had a few tremendous tacos (brains/cesos and tongue/lengua) and an umistakenly wonderful Coca-Cola made and bottled in Mexico. Gringoes just don't know how to mix a great Coke.
However, Azteca's nowhere near as good as Cafe La Pachanga. More people need to explore the off-the-beaten-path strip of Middlefield Road between 3rd and 5th, where more great Mexican food will be found. The Azteca doesn't have the quality of seafood or the rich sauces, nor do the carnitas or chile rellenos compete. less

Most of the people you will find there are Latinos, which is also a good sign. During warm days you can eat outside on the patio. less
