Not your typical Chinese restaurant--featuring food with delicious and unusual taste combinations (think jalapenos!)--but not the Asian fusion stuff those trendy restaurants throw at you. Dessert--yes, dessert--was the big surprise...an assortment of cookies, fruits, sorbets all inventively presented. Try finding a Chinese restaurant where you can say the same! Surroundings are quietly elegant . The staff is very gracious and well-dressed.

This is a very unusual restaurant. First of all, I doubt if you'll even find this quality decor, tables and chairs is such a reasonably priced restaurant. It is also impeccably clean. Second, the owners, who normally wait on you, are dressed up and treat you very well. If you get to know them, you'll like them. The food is very good. It is interesting and has character. Most of the time it has been very good. On one occasion it was just OK. On my last visit, it was excellent.
