Cajun and Creole cookin' to rival some of New Orleans' finest. Don't be mislead into thinking that it's all spicy and searing to the tastebuds, the chef has a deft and subtle hand in her use of seasonings. There are three appetizers not to be missed: the hush puppies, the piquant shrimp (beautiful, fleshy shrimp served in a spicy sauce that teases the palate with tang rather than heat), and blackened chicken livers which will convert any individual who claims not to like chicken liver. <br> Even after 10 years as a loyal customer, Southern Accent still never fails to surprise me. Entrees change every few weeks, so every return visit is unique. <br> While you're there, be sure to have a bourbon sour made with a mix from scratch. It's liquid gold!

Above average Cajun style cooking. Well spiced but not too hot. All food is fresh and plentiful. Good service and nice atmosphere. Worth a try is you feel like snapin' some Crayfish heads
