Hey this is the best restaurant for real latin/carribean food
in the bay area. If your looking for true southamerican/carribean
food and atmosphere this is the place. I took my wife who is colombian
for mothers day here and my whole family a week later everything
on the men is excellent and i know im also southamerican and we
are from ney/newjersey area recently moved here so when it comes
to true latino dishes this is the best in the area and if your a true
latino like us or enjoy our culture on sat/sun there is salsa dancing
also in there while you eat 7 - 10 pm

being a native new yorker, spanish food means carribean spanish...
out in cali it means mexican. so finding this little gem was great!
made me feel at home... i get the rice and beans with pork chops
and planatos... simple fare but amazing. they got some nice flan
too! which is custard, like creme brule... simple heaven!

For that Latin American feel, as well as Latin American beat,
There is no place quite like cafe Caracas. The price for the
food and the service is quite refreshing as well. Not too high!
If you care to drive there is parking. They have some very
very good coffee. If you're a coffee lover you'll love it's
robust flavor. Everyone that I've known that is South American
says that the food is not only good, but quite authentic.

Nice place for a lite meal or coffee and dessert.
Live jazz Monday-Wednesday.
Ample Parking.
Very interesting food - lots of South American regional
specialties, all highly flavored. Empanadas, pizzettas,
apedas - less than $4 per dish. We enjoyed this little
Cafe!
