How obsolete is this web site? <br> This restaurant has been closed for years. It used to be my favorite mesquite-grilled seafood place. Sob!

I love this place. The seafood is excellent, and I have never had a problem with service. They have a lovely little pond area by the resturant that is simply charming, and easily viewed from the window seats. The lobster was to die for! Friday nights features a murder mystery theatre...which usually sells out. But for late dinner diners (like I am often), we can sneak in and get a table with wonderful service from a terrific server. I've enjoyed everything they serve there...this is the place to take a date for seafood!!!

Avoid Pacific Fresh unless you like TV dinners. The fish is marginal and the side orders are terrible. It is also dirty.

I've eaten here a number of times over the years and each time I go, I'm not impressed. So why do I keep returning? Its convenient for me and there is a large variety. Its a good place to bring a work group for lunch or dinner and there are not that many seafood places in the area. I tend to stick to the simple dishes without the sauces as they do seem a bit flat. The food is plentiful so come with a big appetite.

The food was fresh and well prepared. We ate swordfish, prawns, stuffed mushrooms and salmon. The service was the worst I've ever experienced. Being the only people in our area ordering off the menu rather than the early bird budget dinner....you'd think we would of received better or at least decent service. It wasn't that busy and everyone else seem to be getting service. Our bread was never replenished. It took forever for all the food and I was not offered a refill on my tea until well after we were finished with our meal. I had no success at getting the waiters attention and he seemed to avoid our table. It was a bit much to spend for such a miserable experience.

I find it amusing that so many tourists end up at the Fish Market, and miss this place. Fish Market fans need only take one trip to Pacific Fresh, and will be forever converted. Only Pappas in Texas can compare with the quality here. Everything on the menu is good, the tuna and bass exceptional. The rice, as noted by another reviewer, is horrid - order potatoes or fries. For great fish, this is a great place.

I can't believe Pizza Chicago is rated over Pacific Fresh. I've eaten at both, among many other places (I'm in sales -- I eat out for a living), and Pacific Fresh is one of the best places I've eaten. Their swordfish (No matter how they prepare it -- I can't choose between the standard broil or the Parmesan Swordfish), it is excellent. Their halibut is also good. Try their sampler as an appetizer. I've had better stuffed mushrooms, but these are really quite good. Great servers, great food, good atmosphere. I like it so much, I eat there sometimes several days in a row. It's that good.

This place is nothing great. The fish was fresh, but poorly seasoned. The sauces were tasteless. The rice was the biggest dissapointment. I think they just cook it out of a box of some premaid restaurant mix. If we did not have a coupon, I would have been upset about paying $50.00 for two(no drinks, just water). We did have 1/2 dozen blue point oysters that were OK. The meal was barely worth the $30.00 we did pay. I won't be going back. If you want great seafood, try Flaherty's in Carmel.

Absolutely amazing meal. There were 6 of us, and we all ordered something different and each tried a little bit of the other's meal. EVERYTHING was delicious - the prawns, lobster, crab legs, and salmon. And the Creme Broule was fantastic too. Wine selection was good. If you have a large party, make sure you're not in one of the smaller side rooms. We were put there, and 2 really old couples who hate fun asked to move because we were talking during the meal. The waiter was great too. A definate must if you have out-of-towners who want seafood. There also is a dinner/mystery theater on the weekends.

We had a lunch banquet for work here. We pre-ordered. I have attended many banquets and this was the best service I have seen. The waitress was right on top of things. The food was served fresh (not like it had been sitting around waiting for us to be ready). The food was very good. I had the tiger prawns and they were cooked just right, not over cooked as is so usual of prawns. The others around me had the sea bass and said it was very good. A few had the steak and also said it was very good.
