My wife and I stopped here for lunch. Her vegetarian Greek pizza
was most excellent. My Greek Hashish brunch mix was not quite
as good but on the whole we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend
this as a casual cafe stop.

as critics always say, u _must_ try the polenta fries! yes,
they r great! some sandwiches come w/ a side of polenta fries.
the putanesca is good here, yes. it's a li'l bit of an
underrated berkeley place. it isn't all that old of an
establishment, i s'ppose. it's on the side of campus that isn't
visited all that much. yah, the restaurant part of this place
is more to talk 'bout than the cafe. the sandwiches n' salads r
great.

really good mediterrean fud for under $10. this restaurant's
also a cafe. i realized that the restaurant part of the place is
much better than the cafe part. their espresso drink is expensive
compared to the cafes nearby like espresso experience and yali's.
their polenta fries were very good. i had the puttanesca linguine,
which i found to be more delicious than the one from venezia (also
in berkeley).

This is an excellent place to eat some very good food in a
casutting. It is a great place to go and just unwind. The pasta dishes
are quite good and the portions are fairly large. They have a
portabella mushroom sandwich which is both unusual and delicious. They
always have 4-5 tapas of the day which are good snacks or
appetizers. Try the polenta fries. The wine list is small but they
are all available by the glass. They stay open pretty late too.

Odyssia is owned and operated by the same people who run
Caffe Nefeli on Euclid. Like Nefeli, this looks like a
European-style Cafe, although it's a lot more polished
and roomy. Same fantastic capuccinos, without question
the best in the East Bay. Same friendly but slightly
disorganized service. Same great desserts, especially
the tiramisu. It is more expensive than other Cafes in
Berkeley, but it's definitely worth it. Be sure to
check out the map of Greece on the restroom floor.

This is a Cafe with a full lunch and dinner menu.
It's kind of expensive compared with most Cafes, but it's
very good. The antipasto-like plate has many tasty items
including marinated eggplant, stuffed artichoke, and polenta
and cilantro fritters. Vegetarians can substitute something
for the smoked fish. The Roman gnocchi didn't look anything
like the gnocchi I'm used to (it looked more like a wedge
of polenta), but it was delicious. The desserts are good, too.
The service is nice in a sort of charmingly disorganized way.
