Very good, greasy, big burgers + they smell like a burger should!!
A good place to indulge that 'meat eater' urge you get once in a
while.......but watch out, it'll drip on you if you don't watch
out! Fries are good too(all kind of ala carte).
It's better than the Peninsule Creamery.

There are so many places to get good burgers and fries.... The food
was fine but not so good as to make me go back. Plus the service at
the counter was rude, and somewhat lacking in hygiene. The Creamery is
only a couple of blocks away, why not go there?

looked OK, but the chili fries were only average.

The atmosphere seems a bit pre-packaged to me, and the prices are not
cheap for an order - at - the - counter burger & fries joint, but this
is one of the few places in Palo Alto where one can indulge an urge
for a burger ... so if that's what you're looking for, it's worth a
try.

Good, not great, burgers. They are generous with the fries and the
fries are quite good. My shake had a lot of ice crystals in it which
is a big minus in my book. If you want a burger and you're in the
area, this is a good place to go.

Best burger on the penninsula! Big, juicy and lots of fresh
produce. Thick shakes and great onion rings. My wife tried the grilled
chicken breast sandwich and a salad, both were excellent. Fun
atmosphere and reasonably priced for the size of the portions and
quality.

Interesting decor, but dull, bland burgers and nothing much else on
the menu. The distributed jukebox is cool, but many of the songs are
mislabeled and nobody seems to care. No, if you crave a burger, go to
Q or Oasis or the Redwood City Pub instead -- they're much better for
the same price.

Great burgers...lots of meat, fresh condiments. Good fries (large
quantities) that are not extra greasy (a major plus).
Fun, open, airy atmosphere. Good service.
