An excellent, yet ecclectic menu with lots of choices in the area of comfort foods as well as healthy selections. I have enjoyed lunch and breakfast here.

Their omlette's are amazing, chow down on their great buscuits with applesauce, then walk it off at Piedmont Park right outside. Great place to eat after a long night of clubbing in MIdtown.

A true Atlanta original, the Flying Biscuit offers great breakfast

and lunchtime fare. The Biscuits are classic and Sunday Brunch

always has a wait - no matter how early you arrive, but it's

worth every bite. Take a box of biscuits home with you after your

meal and savor every last bite. Scrumptious

This place has become one of the classics in Atlanta. They made their name in breakfast and lunches but they also serve good dinners. The food tends to be ecclectic and interesting twists on comfort foods such as meatloaf (which is excellent) and mashed postoes. Of couse their cinnamon buns are excellent with breakfast or for desert. My favorite times to eat here are breakfast and lunch.

My favorite place for breakfast. You haven't had a biscuit untill you've one of these. The turkey bacon is great and the eggs are always made just the way you request. The cheese grits are as fattening as they can make them. The coffee is good and, thanks to the excellent service, never runs out. Great atmosphere makes this one of the best morning hang out spots in Atlanta. Not too many children, although families are welcome.

Ecletic little resturant that reminds me alot of the Athens scene. The warm chicken salad is the best around. Don't forget to order a biscuit though, these little gems just melt in your mouth.

I've eaten at this place since nearly the day it opened and it hurts to say it, but don't go there just for the food. Flying Biscuit is more than that and it's a good thing that it is.
I like the place, and the food is not like you'll find anywhere else, but it just doesn't dance on my tongue the way I expect that it should. As one of the other reviewers reported. Most everything is a bit heavy.
The decor is interesting and those that eat there also provide some entertainment value. But the food is just so-so.
One last note. My grandmother bakes biscuits that I think God shipped down as manna to Moses to feed the wandering Israelites, so take this next bit with a grain of salt. The biscuits there just don't cut it. They are dense and doughy, not light and fluffy like they should be. But then again, I'm spoiled.

It would be more like a 2 and 1/2 if I could give one. The menu seems interesting, but the food is just okay. For a restaurant with angels all over the menu and the word "flying" in the name, they serve up some of the heaviest and most dense food around. Black bean cakes are a good example. Sound great on the menu, end up being really really mealy and coarse, and gets stuck in your mouth forever. Salmon is well prepared, but accompanying sides do not complement the fish. Service is pleasant and timely, but not overly friendly or concerned.

Food is average at best. The meatloaf is good but certainly no better than my wife's. Biscuits aren't bad, but again, nothing really special. Seems to have a cult following that prefers kooky, kinky atmosphere to good food. Definitely not for your average suburban family...

I kept hearing about this place. My husband and I drove a bit to get there and waited about 45 minutes. My husband and I ordered oatmeal pancakes. They were burnt on outside and tough as shoe leather. We couldn't eat them. The good thing, they didn't charge us. Maybe we got the wrong thing or a bad day for the cook. Too dark and cramped also.

Wonderful experience! The wait (almost always, but resonable) can be filled by the intriguing vintage clothing store next door. Biscuits melt in your mouth, order an extra, and the salads fresh and tasty. Turkey meatloaf with pudge is an Atlanta must, and nothing like moms seventies disasters. Great for people watching as well.

Atmosphere is unique, people are friendly, excellent service. On the severals times I have tasted it, the fare has yet to disappoint me. My only complaint is the limited parking and the limited seating. Sometimes you have to wait, but it's still worth it.

Chic, but good. Definitely a must for people looking for low-priced high quality, out of the ordinary cuisine. Turkey meatloaf and 'pudge' closer to fine.

Decor and atmosphere is a throw back to the 60's, eclectic, loose, very warm and inviting. A beefless (not meatess) restaurant with range green salads, range chicken, pudge (my favorite) and two person breakfast meals. Tucks to bluejeans, alternative to straights, long hair to short...a great place to go just of a cup of special coffee or an excellent meal. Presentation is paramount while china and seating is antique shop. Easy to find, park on the street and expect a wait. Go next door to the bakery, get an expresso and sit down and watch the people across the street go in and out of the body piercing shop. Unique today but best of all, excellent food and presentation.
