We went to CPFD&B during an OSU game, so it's not surprising
that there was plenty of parking and that we were seated immediately.
Apart from the $2.25 sodas, I can't find much fault in the place.
The restaurant has a 50s/60s diner feel about it, but the decor is upscale
(no Coca Cola signs nor photos of James Dean, thank god). The service
is excellent from the moment you walk through the door. The menu is pretty
extensive, although there isn't much for vegetarians. The meatloaf
is superb, and the mashed potato is the best I have ever eaten at a restaurant.
We were disappointed with the Banana Cream Pie, but it was immediately
taken off the bill. Apart from the sodas, the prices are pretty reasonable.

Normally I go for the Cameron Mitchell restaurants, but I think
he fails here. Food is no more eciting than what you would expect
from a diner or another greasy spoon, It's just 3 times more expensive
here. Decor and archotecture of building are cool, and the hipsters
are still fun to watch, but the food is not all that great.
