Open late. fast service. GOOD food under quite a few under $5.00. This is my fix for chinese food for a low price and a great dining experience. nothing fancy, just an interesting little restaurant that is worth putting on your list of places to eat with friends.

A true SF Chinese dive. You can get served up a hot hearty rice plate for cheap. Family run, honest (great) value. Places like these are getting rare. The beauty of these old places is that you can specify what you want. Veggie: How about bok choy w/mushrooms over rice. Hearty: Black bean sauce beef w/ tofu over rice. You make the call.
