Outback, as many people know, is a chain steakhouse restaurant
famous for its Australian theme. Portions are hearty, and the
meat entrees are moist and tender. My favorites were the Victoria
filet and the Chicken on the Barbie. Side items, such as fresh
steamed vegetables and large baked potatoes are generous and
delicious, as well. There are also good salads and desserts,
and the meals start off with heavenly brown baked bread. For appetizers,
the Bloomin' Onion is great, especially with its unique dipping
sauce.
One downside to Outback is its sometimes long waiting list and
its limited options for health-conscious eaters. However,
if you want a great big steak and don't mind the wait, you'll surely
enjoy a trip to Outback, mate.
