My wife and I have been there about 6 times in 35 years! Don't know why we go back, the crab cakes are meaty BUT have no taste!! Hello, ever heard of Old Bay and dried mustard

On March 3, 2006 four of us went to this restaurant expecting to enjoy a meal including their famous crabcakes. It was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. The service was horrible because they only had two waitresses working. We had to wait forever for everything we ordered--drinks, salads, entrees. The food, when it finally came, was cold, overcooked, tiny portions, and extremely overpriced for what we got. When we complained, we were told by the new owner that since we had touched it we had to pay for it in full. We will never go there again and will tell everyone we know how bad it was.

Drooms both upstairs and down with a broad variety of entrees. The broiled crabcakes are to die for and the best in town if not the state.

This has been a standard of mine forever. They have great seafood and Italian and often combine the two.
It is family owned and has an Irish Pub in the basement.

a baltimore landmark--great crab cakes--considered the best--

all foods it good, not must atmosphere--pretty much a neighborhood place, service is slow, the drinks are average--

however the crab cakes win everytime

The jumbo crabcakes from this restaurant are consistently voted the best in Baltimore---and rightfully so! Other entrees are equally as wonderful, but I usually cannot resist those crabcakes.

Classic Baltimore restaurant that is famous for their incredible 8 ounce jumbo lump crabcakes. Locals know this is THE place to go. Traditional warm decor with candlelight. Desserts are all made there, I personally cannot resist the cheesecake.

Irish pub where you can order light fare.
