This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at Chateau
Frontenac. It was a very nice favor done to us by a very nice lady.
I had a fabulous liver pate with sweet onions as an appetizer.
It was too much to finish, but was a great lead in to my main dish
- a rib steak with dijon sauce. The chef made this taste like magic.
A true masterpiece. My wife had a veal with portobelo mushroom
dish that she very much enjoyed.
We shared a very nice 1997 Chateau neuf du Pape. The hostess opened
it when we ordered, and it was perfect when our main course was
ready.
The deserts were also outstanding. I had a raspberry sorbet and
espresso. My wife had a chocolate treat in three layers (Marjoline?)
which she loved.
This is a special place in a city of fine restaurants.
