Thought I was in Florence. Lasagna was very cheesy, but not to filling like alot places. A nice Cab with the meal had me smiling all the way home.

This is a great place if you are eating with a large group of people. Forget it if you are dining solo or as a couple. The entree sizes are overwhelming. I like the spaghetti with the gigantic meatballs, chicken cacciatore, linguine with clam sauce, and the green beans (yummy with fresh lemon). Wear loose clothing as you will be stuffed beyond belief. The salads are also absolutely huge. It does tend to get busy here so expect to wait to be seated. They do have a table right inside the kitchen. The decor is a bit kitschy. I don't know what to think about eating at a table with a bust of the Pope as the centerpiece.

Buca Di Beppo is a must experience for all who like to dine out. The ambience and food are delightful. Bring an appetite because they aim to please with monsterous proportions. One of my new favorite restaurants, I can't wait to go back. If your looking to impress, take them to Buca.

I was better classify this as "family italian". They basically back up a truck and fill up your table with food. I didn't know this was a chain until recently. Cool atmosphere (big italian family), excellent food (try the cheese ravioli) and good price. The price seems high but each plate feeds like 3-4 people so its actually reasonable.

One warning, forget about group reservations Friday or Saturday. It ain't happening. We tried and waited an hour past our reservation time. But the food was worth it.
