This restaurant offer Italian cuisine. Typically the head chef
focuses on an area of Italy, like Tuscany, and creates a menu of
his/her favorite dishes from the area. My staple favorite is
the ravioli di checca, which is essentially ravioli stuffed
with pumpkin like squash. It is superb. There wine selection
is good and they even have 100 year old ports available for reasonable
prices. The restaurant is noisy and fun so you can bring your family
and kids.

Terrible service! Verrry slow. Aloof waiter
My rabbit was over cooked. Wine list adequate.
Never got my glass of water.
Told them we were going to the theater, time element...
Took forever to get check. (The reservation was for 5:30)
I am not going back!
I have made 4 meals out of my serving.
Great location!
Great location. Good food. Easy parking. Way too busy. I seldom
have a relaxing meal at il fornio. However the food is always well
prepared and service is as goood as it can be considering the conditions.

Good location in Old Town. Nice service. Waiters are attentive. Wine selection
is excellent. Have their own bakery. Open kitchen with customer bar to watch.
Moderate sized meals (you'll take some home). Great for pre-theatre or show
dining or for a late evening meal.
