If you like spicy tuna maki, Matsuya's is the best I've had...and I've tried a lot of different sushi restaurants looking for better. A decent-sized list of a la carte sushi and a separate "on-the-table flipcard" with more creative makis...the Mexican maki is great, as is the shrimp tempura maki. Be sure to try the Philadelphia maki if you like salmon. There is a high turnaround in customers, and the fish is always fresh-tasting. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table...service is speedy and efficient...almost so fast the "waitpersons" don't have time to be friendly, but I don't consider that a bad thing. While you eat, you'll have a bottomless cup of hot, and I mean HOT tea. Prices are very reasonable. Don't forget the green tea ice cream after your meal. This is my favorite sushi place. YUM!
