Murphey's Mule Barn, if one goes back far enough to pre-I25
days, was a truck stop restaurant on the (now) old U.S. highway
(2nd St.) In that way, it has changed little, with large servings
of fried foods, good prices, perky waitresses that may call you
"Hon, " etc. Breakfasts are the best, but all in all,
a good place for both traditional "merican" food...and
Mexican too! :-) Still not a place to bring a date...unless she
drives a Peterbuilt! OK for families on a budget especially.
