Maybe becuase I've been eating Mexican food all my life, Emma's in not the greatest. Yes, the chicken tacos are good but the rest is just standard. BUT - the margaritas are the best I've ever had. Quite strong too so after a drink or two, who cares what the food is like! Closed during late Dec and Jan.

I'm not too big on Mexican food, so maybe this is a little biased, but still the food was great and the service was amazing. The place has a great atmosphere and bar, and considering I don't usually like the food I was pleasantly surprised.

The food is fantastic, good sized plates. Try the carnitas! I really liked their salsa. Very popular.

Excellent food. Well priced. Huge portions. The Salsa bar can't be beat. Especially the jalapenos and sour cream mix. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the fact that they were cleaning the tables with a spray bottle of watered down bleach. While I appreciate the fact that they were trying to sterilize the tables for the next guest, the smell and fumes from the bleach left me with a headache and my friend nauseous. Other that recommending to them a new cleaning method, I can't say enough about their food.

Home made is the word. Everything seems to be home made; soup, chips, tortillas, etc. Every time we eat in here, we also order menudo "togo" for lunch the next day. Friendly service. The restaurant is a little old, it has not changed for decades, but this adds to the charm. Too many restaurants renovate or expand and the food suffers. 94 Champ

EMMA'S IS ANOTHER OF MY FAVORITES! BIG PORTIONS AND FULL OF FLAVOR! DON'T EAT TOO MUCH SALAD OR TORTILLA SOUP THOUGH, OR YOU WON'T HAVE ROOM FOR THE MAIN COURSE!! YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICES!
