Aladdin is definately above average Middle Eastern/Greek fare.
The folks who work there are always very friendly and happy to
have you at their establishment. I think it's the best 5 bucks
you can spend on the Ave.

A great place to go grab a bite when you're up past midnite studying
for your exams. they're open until 2 in the morning and the gyros
are excellent. however, the people who frequent the place are
rather suspect. wouldn't recommend coming there alone if you're
a single female.

Very good falafels, but the quality and flavor vary between visits.
They are friendly and "usually" quick, unless they're all talking
behind the counter. The most unfortunate part about this place
is that they allow SMOKING! It is terrible, as lots of smokers
stumble in and stand at the counter smoking away. There is even
a pillowed, family style Middle Eastern smoking lounge.
The babaganouj is good, and spanikopita also, but is taken from
the the fridge and plopped in the microwave. If you don't like
onions, tell them up front. They're everywhere.
Overall, great prices. The tacky tobacco company paid advertising
that blemishes the surroundings could be an eyesore to some.

Great gyros and great prices is what you'll find here. Also, try
the hot Aerbic Tea - very good. Good for take-out as well. Really
nice decorations with rugs hanging from all the walls.

Simply the best gyro and falafel joint in america , thanks God
for Aladdin .By the way those two restaurants are stil open for
seven good years and three years for the second one , the one thats
located on 4139 univ.way NE opens 7days aweek 9am-2am at this
location I tried the gyrice platter which is amix of gyro meat, grilled
onion , tomatos and the fammous Aladdin;s basmati rice along
with garden salad and their great homemade yogurt or tahini sauce
all for only $5.00 (including tax) , when we ask how could they
afford selling their such great food at such low price? we were
answered a simple answer:we make money by making customers the
more affordable food you offer the clients you will get to your
door , replied the friendly manager with abig smile.
