GREAT sliders, good atmosphere. Very 1940s. In the winter, it's
cold and in the summer it's too hot in there but the food is worth
it. I've been going for over 20 years. The prices are high but the
burgers are worth it.

Great 1940's style place with a simple and good menu. Unfortunately,
the prices have echoed the millenium and it is no food bargain.
I suggest a double cheesburger with lots of fried onions, fries
and a coke. That's what this place is famous for. Then if you are
still hungry order another double cheeseburger. You'll get
change back from your $ 10 bill, but not much. But the simple bugers
and fries are always made hot and fresh and the burgers come with
lots of fried onions and tey are perfect. While this place used
to be open very late, which made it one of my favorite munchie stops
when everything else was closed, it has fallen victim to the teenie
boppers which forced them to close late at night. Good parking
lot and a great location on Hunter (Old Woodward) just north of
downtown Birmingham.
