I must clarify something here. It is not only Chinese but Vietnamese food too. I like coming to the Westheimer one cause it is closer. Perfer the downtown one if I am in the area. Tehy got a huge selection of all kinds of asian foods. For the fire adventurer try the scallops and jalepenos. Signature dish is the very popular Black Pepper crabs. Word of warning though is eating them can be very messy. Avoid ordering when wearing formal wear.

Kim-Son is alright and it is cool watching the guy cook your food, but once you have been there once then their is not much of a reason to go back. The food isn't very good.

The food is great and very authentic. It's a great place to take friends out to eat. The setting is nice with fountains outside. Great food!

Kim Son restaurants downtown are wonderful. I recommend the sit down menu and not the lunch buffet. The variety is great. Be sure and get an ice coffee after your meal.

Rather pricey for a chinese restaurant but everything is good so I'd say the money is well spent. Relaxing atmosphere and the building itself is nice indeed. So I'd say it's only a norm that the restaurant is fully crowded. It's been a long time since my visit there but they have this one dish on the menu that I like so much, it's a deep fried crab and it tastes really good and crunchy. I wholeheartedly suggest people to at least try this one.

I have only been to this Kim Son on Westheimer. I loved the food and the service was good also. Overall, I had a very good experience a few times I've been to this restaurant. I recommend it to people who like good Chinese food.
