This is a very average restaurant for Mexican cuisine. It's long tradition in the same location goes a long way in boosting it's reputation even though the food quality is only fair. The drinks are mixed nicely, and I'd advise you to take advantage of this so that the meal will be tolerable.

One of the oldest reputable Mexican resturants in town. While there is much competition, it is still possible to get custom dishes here if you have your waiter ask the chef. Consistently good food when I have visited.

This restaurant used to be very good years ago, but now it is just downright awful. Pass it up for Mi Pueblo or something that has much better and fresher food!

El Adobe used to be the best place to eat on the Trail a few years ago, but the tides have turned. The atmosphere in the resturant is dark, sort of romantic but no the setting you want if you are with a couple guy friend or people from your office. The service is good, with complimentary nachos and slasa, as most Mexican places have. With El Adobe you get what you pay for, the meals are relativly cheap, $5-8 buck for a large meal, but not bad for the price. There is just nothing too special about El Adobe to make you keep going back. If you are on a date with a low budget this would be the place I take her. But El Adobe does have some excellent fried ice cream that you cant pass up.

Highly reccomend this resturant! A wide array of mexican food and they have an award for the best margaritas. Service is pretty good and the dishes are a lot of food. Highly recommend the Adobe Combination Platter is you are very hungry.

This Resturant is so good I frequent it at least 2 to 3 times a month. I just love it. the service is fast and plesant, and the food is very well priced for the amount of food they give you!

Very crowded but we still recieved fast, friendly service. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The layout provides an intimate atmosphere even when very busy. El Adobe has been in business for years with good reason.

This is FAR from the best Mexican place in the area. In a town known for bad Mexican food, El adobe ranks near the bottom of the list as far as I'm concerned. Almost as bad as Cafe Campestre (who charges for mediocre salsa and chips) In El Adobe's favor, I must admit I did not have to stand in line to eat. I know why.
