This is just a small dive cafe across from the lake. Nice mountain
setting. Nothing fancy, but you will NOT go away hungry. The food
portions are humungous! Good old fashion home cooking. The fried
potatoes are awesome. Fried hot enough they are not dripping
in grease with a dash of seasoning for a great flavor. The biscuit
and sausage gravy is out of this world. Huge flaky biscuits covered
with cream gravy that is not lumpy and just the right consistency.
Fresh fruit adorns each plate. Very busy during the breakfast
hours on the weekends, so you might have to wait a bit, but it will
be worth it. Definitely bring an appetite and don't need to worry
about the pocketbook, as the prices are very reasonable.
