Good place to stop for lunch if you're in Hartford. Good bar/restaurant mix with better than average quality food. Stop by later in the evening to watch a game and hang out with friends. Good sized bar that really is a pretty relaxing atmosphere (including stadium seats in the back to watch the game.)

Excellent clean and classy restaurant/Bar. They have great lunches and Dinners. It seems to be a favorite spot for those who are employed at the local big companies. It is a nice place to kick back for a while. They do allow smoking in the establishment, so if you wear contacts beware. However the ventilation is much better than that of a crowded downtown bar. The atmpsphere as far as I can tell down at the Civic Cafe is mellow. i have been there on a weekend and had a wonderful Martini, and listened to a mellow band while sitting at there beautiful bar. They have very nice matches if you indulge in cigarettes. The price on drinks is a fair ammount, but boy can they make a good drink. So relax, grab a couple co-workers, and eat lunch, or go for a drink after ( not during ) work. So I encourage you EAT//DRINK AT THE CIVIC CAFE!!!!!

Great place for burgers and beers. If you're looking for a quiet place to watch a game this is not it! Good selection of sports bar food and pretty pleasant service all around.

Great place to come and watch games. Menu and pricing are decent. More geared toward coming in, eating and having a beer, than it is toward sitting down and talking. Visit if you're in Hartford, you won't regret it

a real sports place. dont go during a big televised huskies game if you want to be able to talk to someone you're with. the burgers are great though (order one medium to get it well, order well to get it black)

When I go here I go for a sporting event so the food is secondary. Go here to root for the Huskies. If you are paying that close of attention to the food then you are not a true sports fan. :)

Whether your their to dine or sit at the bar, this is part of the Heart of Hartford. The quesadillas are a nice start or just a crunch salad. Relax with your favorite drink, beer or wine. The people are friendly! Join in on the Husky-Fever! Connecticut and Coach's exemplify "Pride" that is unlike no other.
