The steaks served here cannot compare to those served by the "Hungry
Hunter" that occupied this place prior to the change-over.
As a steak and beer bar, this place suits the need and serves a decent
meal in a casual environment.

On the whole as a Steakhouse I was very impressed with this place.
The service was very attentive, slow to anger, quick to please,
making the overall experience a pleasurable one. The food was
cooked to customer directions to a T, and they didn't balk
at a no salt request as many places that I've gone have. If
you're in the area and are looking for a steakhouse that caters
to the customer for a realistic price for pampering then you've
got to try them.

Everytime my roommate and I are in the mood for some good steaks,
we always go to Red Oak. The food is always superior, and the service
is just as great. The steaks continue to be mouth-watering, along
with all the trimmings. The casual atmosphere makes your entire
dining experience comfortable and relaxed, which is what you
need to be in order to digest all that food!!

A good steak. This place is made better by the buy one get one
free coupons all over town. Happy hour is below average, but good
selection of beers. I reccomend this place if you are traveling
through and you are stuck in El Cajon.

Ribeye Steak will melt in your mouth.
Food was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent.
Have been many times and still continue using it as out first
choice for a steak house.

Great Steaks! Rustic atmosphere with chuckwagon barbecue behind a glass
wall. You can watch them cook your steak. I enjoyed the 18 oz T-Bone with all
the trimings and plenty of refills on soft drinks and ice tea.
