lotsa stuff under $5. Quick place to get some decent gurb if you are in the area. There is one in Whittier on Greenleaf and another one near I-5 and Fletcher in Los Angeles north of Dodgers Stadium. Food is the same, quick and cheap. Rated based on price and value.

Reminiscent of every other burger joint around the city. The only reason I go there is for convenience. The pastrami is pretty good. The fries are OK and the restrooms seem more like interogation rooms rather than lavatories. Reasonable prices along with homeless people pestering you to purchase stolen items from them, give Rick's a unique charm found only in Nazi Germany.

The breakfasts are the best. I always have steak and eggs. The steak is tender and potatoes are a dream. The owner saw me there two mornings in a row, so he gave me a Christmas card and a Rick's mug. I told him he did not have to, that I did not know him and he said, "You are a customer, you spend money here, I want you to have this." I told him how nice he was and told him I frequent Rick's whenever I am down in the LA area.

This is a good place to get a fast lunch. The burgers are large and very good. Large selection on the menu. Very convient to get in and out of. over all a no frills fast food place for lunch at a good price and good food.
