Located in Central San Rafael. Tao Yuan has been serving terrific Chinese food with a Korean accent for at least as many years as I have lived here. At last count that was 13. At Tao Yuan you will find freshness and abundance are the chefs main priorities. Try the Tao Yuan noodle soup. Loaded with shrimp, beef, squid, chicken, mushrooms, vegatables, garlic and of course noodles.This is a meal be itself. Other noteworthy entrees are the whole steamed fish, Schezuan beef, Schezuan prawnsand chicken with vegetables. The waiters are quick to get your food to you and reasonably fast at filling your water glass. Which you will need to do when you taste Tao Yuans wonderful Kim Chee. Prices are resonable and parking is plentiful.
