More beer sold per square foot in this place than any other in the
nation. Enough said? No. They have great food too. They are known
for their burgers but their chicken tacos and Tiajuna fries are
great. Don't leave your donimoes at home, men! Wear your
beer drinkin' boots. If liquor is your fancy they'll
let you bring in a bottle, buy a coke (free refills). Great way
to have a great time and save cash.

Face facts. This is a BAR. The do serve food here as well as beer
though. Really. they do. The food is OK too. But you don't
come here for the food. You come here for the atmosphere, the beer,
the tunes, the fun. If you're rock n rool and not country,
you go next door to Dudley's Draw. But if you're a country
person, a longneck person, a domino person or a toursit, check
it out.

This restaurant caters toward a bustling College atmosphere
with cheap beer and loud music, but the food itself is hardly worth
mentioning. Dixie Chicken is a good place to go if one wants to
have a good time with friends, but the cuisine is lacking the subtle
flavors that make any restaurant a culinary success. Needless
to say, its not the food that attracts patrons at this place.

Every College Town Has A place like Dixie Chicken. The heart of
Aggieland. The burgars are not the best but not the worst either,
the cheese fries are too fantastic to be healthy. The fun robust,
crowded place is a must to visit at least once!

Well, there is hardly a more famous place in Texas than the Dixie
Chicken. This is the A&M college hangout that people associate
with College Station. While the food is not incredible (read:
it is a side attraction for the atmopshere) there are some meals
that will satisfy you. And if you like a fun, loud, crazy atmosphere,
you have to give this place a try.

An Aggie Tradition...the Dixie Chicken is a must to stop and eat
at if you're passing through Aggieland!! [:o) Eat the cheese
frys...they're YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! I'd recommend going in the
day time if you're not a college student, and not into the college
student hang out scene! But, do go...you'll love it!!

You have to have the cheese fries here. They are smothered with
cheese and dipped in ranch and are SOOO unhealthy, but they are
really good! You have to go to the Chicken just to experience the
heart of Aggieland!

It's just one of those atmospheric places you have to experience.
It's a saloon-type setting with old country music being played
from a record player. It's just a great place to hang out and drink
beer and play dominos. The food is good too-be sure to try to Tijuana
fries!

Decent during the day, becomes overly-crowded at night as local
college students crowd the building, creating a possible fire
hazard. Definitely not for claustrophobic people, but a good
place to meet drunken college kids. Cheap, cold beer is main attraction,
though burgers, while made of pressed and formed beef, are decent.
