NOTICES NOTICES -........ They've made some great improvements in the decor of the store...both inside and out, but it hasn't lost its rustic flavor. Neither has the food! The menu has undergone the most change, with a greatly expanded choice of meals...more platters of "downhome" cooking...with their latest offering for our east Tx weather, a huge bowl of chilie with crackers to warm the body and the spirit.

Everytime my wife and me go there we enjoy it a lot. Unfortunatelly, we do not always find the owners there. :-) My suggestion is to make the yard full of nice plants and trees along the fence, to make it more friendly and hide the drunken people. :-) The beer is great,

When you go in the door you are greeted with 60's 70's music, the menue is on the wall and specials out front, Its a good place to just kick back and enjoy yourself, I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and okra, a salad come with the meal. It took me awhile to eat it all as im not a lumberjack, the plate was full and sorta running over, I had water to drink and the total cost was $5.36. This is a non smoking restarant. the ladies behind the counter were very friendly, you pay at the counter and they bring your food to you.

I think of "Ken & Barbie" whenever I go to the East Texas Burger Co...owned and operated by Ken & Debbie...two of the nicest young folks in the town of Mineola. They've made some great improvements in the decor of the store...both inside and out, but it hasn't lost its rustic flavor. Neither has the food! The menu has undergone the most change, with a greatly expanded choice of meals...more platters of "downhome" cooking...with their latest offering for our east Tx weather, a huge bowl of chilie with crackers to warm the body and the spirit. Their newly created menu board greets you at the register and will cause you to pause as you choose from amongst the myriad of just pain great selections. Try it; you'll like it!

If you are looking for the ultimate Texas sized hamburger, look no further!!!!!!! Here it is in Mineola Tx. These babies are about the size of a 8" plate and it takes a real man to eat one. They are great tasting too!!!
