This USED to be an excellent place to eat, but it seems they now
cater to senior citizens and the steaks are pretty bland. Now
that Jean Lafitte's will be closing, the ONLY superior place
that I know of for an outstanding steak is at Sylvia's.

Known locally as possibly the best place to enjoy a good steak,
this establishment has been around for a number of years. The
service is excellent and the food is outstanding. If someone
should ask "Where's the beef?", I highly recommend the restaurant
as THE place to find it.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, it reminder me of a place in
Monroe, where I lived before moving to Lake Charles. I thought
it was quaint and the food was very good. The service was excellant.
