Open 24 hours. Great if you're out late. It is a bit dingy if that
bugs you, but the food is first rate and it's pretty fun. It's
in downtown, right across from the UGA arch!

I know, I know, the Grill is the coolest place in Athens and it's
just wrong to say otherwise . . . but come on, people. I've
eaten there probably two dozen times, at all hours of day and night,
and never had a memorable experience. They call themselves an
Athens "tradition, " but it really hasn't been
there all that long. The shakes are great, open 24 hours is great,
but the food and the service are mediocre at best.

This restaurant is one of the most unique and special places in
the city. ALL the food is made from scratch, from their delicious
burgers to the thick milkshakes. The Grill is an Athens, Georgia
icon and a must visit place for everyone. The best thing is that
it's open 24 hours! Don't forget to try their homemade
feta dressing to dip your fresh cut fries in. Don't miss going
to this awesome restaurant!

Excellent food for the cardiac proof and just plain foolish.
You'll be in an early grave from hardening of the arteries
if you eat here much but your belly will be full and your palate
sated.

The Grill is one of the great traditions in Athens. After a late
night downtown, slaughtering brain cells; The grill offers
Waffle House quality food with a unique atmosphere. Also, it
is a good place to sober up.

Wanna have the best breakfast in the funkiest place in town? So
the Grill is the ebst place. Dyed-hair servers carry delicious
sausages and hashbrowns. Late night meals are also great, in
spite of the long line to get a table.

A cool place to hang out and get a burger downtown, day or night.
A classic spot in Athens, and most people use it as a landmark when
giving directions. Great burgers and shakes in a diner-like
atmosphere--don't miss it!

This restaurant is wonderful and has a special flair to it. The
hamburgers are really good. Always thick and juicy. Their french
fries are some of the best I have ever had.
Their fresh cherry cokes are really good, but the best thing they
serve are their old-fashioned chocolate malt shakes!
This is also a great place for people watching. You never know
who you might see in there.

I don't even remember what I had, however, left with a satisfied
impression and hope to frequent the restaurant on future visits
to the city. Great atmosphere and great food.

-Large burgers with your choice of toppings
-Home-style crinkle fries (w/feta cheese dressing...sounds
weird, but tastes wonderful)
-Some of the best shakes and malts in town
-Try a REAL cherry or vanilla coke

A late night athens tradition and a must for any visitor hoping
to truly "experience" athens culture. open 24/7 and employer
of some of the most interesting of athens residents, their generous
burgers are the answer to your post-party cravings. try their
homemade fries with feta dressing...you'll thank me.
